Clarissa & Steve say I do

I remember the day Clarissa called me on that cold winter day and said, “God I hope it isn’t cold in April. I don’t even care if it rains as long as it’s warm!” Now Clarissa is from Georgia where in April it can be 80 plus degrees outside unlike New England which can be 60 degrees and sunny or a blizzard. That’s just April. So when I awoke and checked the weather for the 10th time that week and saw it was going to be 72 and sunny I broke into my happy dance. Seriously NO bride deserved it more than this one! Clarissa is such a wonderful person. We are also pregnancy buddies, haha! She is just a few more weeks along than I am so that was super exciting. We did some poses to show off her growing bump and others where honestly you really can’t tell she is pregnant at all. We (including her hubby Steve) were all too busy admiring her beauty. YES, she had the glow!

I love these two and they dealt with a lot that day. The ground was squishy from the torrential rain the night before so our shoes got soaked, there were bugs, no greenery on the trees or flowers to speak of (sadly it was too early in CT), and of course Steve doesn’t like having his photo taken. Steve, you were a great sport and like I told you that day outside the bridal suite it will all be worth it. I think he secretly had fun ; )
