Katey & Oliver say I do

I love Katey and Oliver.

Not only are they the sweetest couple, but they just compliment each other so well.

They are THAT couple ; )

They have been together since high school and have such a close knit family. The kind of family that when you spend time with them they just make you feel so comfortable like you are now apart of theirs.

I knew shooting this wedding 8 months pregnant wasn't going to be super easy in the 90 degree heat, but with the help of Oliver and Katey's mom offering me cold drinks and my amazing assistant Emily we all made a great team to capture wonderful moments.

Katey NEVER once worried or asked me during any of our texts or follow up calls/emails, "What if you go into labor?"

Totally reasonable!

She did tell me later that she asked her mom though, haha. I told her of course I had a back up plan in place, but I would literally have crawled to be there with them, because their day was just so important to me, and what a day it was.

I grew up in Rhode Island and my husband and I were married in North Kingstown, RI as well about 15 minutes from Katey and Oliver's venue in August two years ago. Rhode Island will always hold a special place in my heart.

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their day!!

Special thanks to the following vendors:

Bride's dress is Oleg Cassini from David’s Bridal

Bridesmaids worse Bill Levkoff gowns from Party Dress Express

Hair by family friend and goddess Peggy Murgo

Wedding cake from Nancy’s Bakery

I LOVE this image of Katey and her mom, so sweet!!

These were taken right outside of the mother of the bride's home, so gorgeous with those hydrangeas!

Oliver gifted his groomsmen these super fancy leather bags with awesome sunglasses!

Then it was off to Colt State Park for the first look!

Then it was time to head o the venue to get married.

It went by SO quickly!

I loved that Katey had both her dad and stepdad walk her down.

Such a special memory for them both!

This wine is a favorite of theirs and after they read their vows the officiant had them seal their vows with this bottle and they are allowed to open it up, drink some wine and read their vows to remind one another of their love when times get tough.

Loved it!

The food at the Quonset O Club ='s Ah-mazing!

Katey asked if I could do a shot of them with some oysters so we definitely made sure to! : )

So, this is Tom, Katey's brother.

Tom is awesome as was everyone at the wedding, but Tom and Katey are best friends and have SUCH a special bond.

Was it always this way? Well no, because they are brother and sister after all, haha but it is now.

He is too funny and you can tell that he adores her and Oliver too.

Plus the man can work a camera like no one else ; )

So yes Tom you get your very own cameo.

I know you're smiling right now!

Work it ladies!! ; )

Special thanks to this beautiful MOH without whom family pictures would not have been captured.

She was incredible and kept grabbing family members and had that list rolling along (thank you)!

They literally pulled this pose off in 3 seconds without any planning, haha.

We were all very impressed!

Katey and Oliver you two are going to lead the most amazing lives as husband and wife!! : )

It was an absolute pleasure working with you and your families!!

Congrats to you both and here's to many more adventures.

<3 Ashley
